One of my favorite floral aromas is the fragrance of fluffy bunches of lilacs, enveloping everything with an intoxicating cloud, evoking forgotten memories of a distant childhood, affecting the nostalgic strings of the soul ...
The fragrance from the new Aerin Lauder
series (the granddaughters of Esti Lauder) - Lilac Path
- all and the whole - an ode to lilacs.
Here is what the manufacturer writes about the fragrance:“There is something special in spring flowers - they bloom quickly and disappear just as quickly. The fragrance of Lilac Path is able to absorb the spirit of spring and extend it, ”- Aerin Lauder, founder and creative director of AERIN brand.
Emerging from under the cover of a long, cozy winter, flowers herald the arrival of spring and warmth. Embodying this delightful moment, Lilac Path conveys it in the scent of a lilac bush blooming every spring near the Aerin country house.
Lilac bloom, like spring itself, ends as quickly as it begins. The heady aroma of Lilac Path allows you to slightly extend this wonderful time.
Lilac Path is an exquisite combination of fresh herbs, lush flowers and delicate petals. The lingering aroma of lilac interweaves the alluring depth of luxurious notes of galbanum. Creamy jasmine lactones are mixed with soft shades of angel seed oil and orange blossom.
The fragrance belongs to the category of floral, released in 2013.
The series includes the following fragrances: Gardenia Rattan, Amber Musk, Lilac Path, Ikat Jasmine and Evening Rose.
The caps of the bottles resemble pebbles, quite pretty.
Unfortunately, I did not find the creator of the fragrance. I would be grateful if someone shared this information.
I perceive Lilac Path as a monoaromat of a very natural sounding lilac. The fragrance is both gentle and loud, quite straightforward. The lilac here is so wet, drowning in lush green leaves.
Medium durability - half a day on me, like the vast majority of perfumes.
From the first notes, it is enveloped in a heady lilac dope, to which, as it unfolds, more and more green notes are added - twigs, leaves ... I don’t feel the pyramid cited by the creators at all - where is galbanum, angelica seeds, jasmine lactones ... (lactones! romanticism
For me it's just a lilac. And foliage. Not a chemical freshener, perfumers managed to delicately convey all this “lilac tenderness”
The environment is perceived very favorably, even my husband approved. And he, I must say, does not encourage me at all in the field of perfumery - and that’s not right for him, and it’s not that way ... From Amuazhey he shies away like hell from incense.
In general, a rather straightforward aroma. For those who love all kinds of non-meat and can’t tolerate “heavy artillery”. Or for those who (like me) go crazy with lilacs. Or for a change, take a break from complex compositions.
Perfume, by the way, is well-made, although simple.
Although the price, of course, is a bit high for him (about $ 110, which is pretty depressing at the current rate).
In general, I advise the "lilac maniacs" to take a closer look.
Surrounded by the upcoming autumn, it’s quite difficult to express gracefully about all the feelings that overwhelm you when you inhale the delightful lilac aroma, so I will leave this to the master.
Fading, rumbles in the distance.
Golden rays are like arrows
Through the thick clouds passed ...
The air is full of coolness and shadow
A rainbow rose in a bright crown
And heavy bunches of lilacs
Bent over our porch.
Good in the spring
Run down the slope at random
Plunge into the fragrant sea
Overwhelmed dormant garden.
How many white and dark purple
Along the fence of bushes has grown!
You’ll touch a branch - petal rain
A wet bunch is falling
In a light droplet, fresh and clean,
A sparkling day was reflected
And in the garden every dewy branch
The lilac smells triumphant.
