Almost a year has already passed since I got it, so I can state with absolute deliberate and not hot feelings that these are just absolutely the best matte
shadows from those that have ever fallen into my hands.
In winter she wrote about Atelier T04
(a light palette "for blondes") - they are also good, but rare sparkles were wedged in there.
With the post I pulled as much as possible and impossible, now there is almost no time - therefore, apparently, this will be my farewell post about decoration.
But I remain a reader, so I do not say goodbye)
The palette, of course, is pretty red
. I tried to convey the colors as reliably as possible, I had to pretty tinker with color correction - the shades on the monitor did not turn out to be similar.
But in the end it turned out pretty close, I looked specifically from different monitors.
The shadows are absolutely dull matte
. They will not underline, but even hide small wrinkles and irregularities of the eyelids. The pigmentation is
just awesome! Usually there are problems with light shades, they often sin with watercolors and translucency - and I had to dumbly hide all the small blood vessels in the eyelid, from which even study the anatomy, because the skin is thin to extremes.
Therefore, I can use the first two or three shades just to give the eyelid a healthy look, while it will not be very noticeable that my eyes are made up. The colors are also matte - as if their skin has such a smooth tone. With the third, however, it is necessary to be more careful - it is quite warm and when you add it, the makeup is already quite noticeable.
In general, shades are
suitable, of course, not for everyone. But we have much more warm types than is commonly believed.
Shadows are extremely densely pressed
and very finely ground
. Consumption is
very, very economical. Not soft and not dry, not silk and not flour. Excellent adhesion to the skin of the eyelids. And better with a brush (natural). She made swatch with her finger - it turned out worse than with a brush.
Let's move on to them. On my very fair skin, the first two shades are poorly visible on the arm and merge in color (because the color is uniform in this place). But for centuries it will be very noticeable.
Applied without a base.
Larger (pictures are enlarged by clicking to better view the finish):
Under slightly different lighting:
The first shade is milky white (not boiling white!). That is, it is also warm.
2nd — pastel white-yellow, very muffled and not bright. On the eyelid it can look like skin color. But who has what kind of skin, of course ..)) I align the color of the eyelid.
3rd - white-apricot, also diluted, pastel.
4th to write off is very difficult (as it was difficult to achieve its correct color rendition). He is so reddish-brown, with a brick echo. Sometimes a reddish component is noticeable in it.
5th saturated, deep neutral brown (but not very dark), I usually do eyeliner for them. For me it is quite dark - but I have very fair skin.
There are no spangles, as in T04 (they were rare there, although they were generally dull) - there are none at all. Absolutely matte finish.
Let's see for centuries.
My typical makeup
with this palette is exactly the way I use it in most cases.
1st - into the inner corner of the eyelids and under the eyebrow
2nd - for the entire moving eyelid
3rd — on top of it, starting from the last third of the mobile century (external) and into the fold
4th - I slightly darken the corner (or for daytime makeup I can generally skip)
5th - arrow. I want to note that I use all the shadows in a dry form, even for eyeliner. Pigmentation allows you to do this without problems. I summarize the upper eyelid, and - very shaded - the lower one, too (there is the 3rd first, and the 5th finish).
Natural light from the window:
With a flash (it’s clear that nothing shines, everything is matte):
The general view was not very successful for me, so in this version
And here is a more intense
option (here the 4th and 5th in the outer corner are applied)
In the back of the room:
Near the window:The durability of
the shadows is excellent - but for that they are professional. I apply without a base, nothing rolls anywhere, does not fade, does not wear out. At the same time (which is strange) they can be removed without problems by any means - including even if you just wash your face with foam (but if you apply it without a base - you can’t do with the base when removing the foam)
I’ve been operating for about a year, the cost is now about 3200 rubles
I heard conversations that Atelier is changing something in the shadows, and the new ones are not so good ... I just can’t comment on it - my copy is great. I'm Natalia)
